Marlin is a young lady who first wrote a letter to Alpha House in Fall 2011 stating that her Bat Mitzvah was being held in May 2012 and she planned to include a donation for Alpha House. Marlin, her parents, and two siblings visited us Wednesday, June 6 and handed us 32 handmade baby hats (made by Marlin) and handmade baby blankets made by her friends and family. New maternity clothes, baby clothes, and $150.00 from her Bat Mitzvah funds were also donated in her basket of goodies. Marlin wrote, “I’m so happy that I’m able to help mothers and babies in my community who are in need. Thank you for all you do for our Tampa community.”
